AHMEDABAD: Fascel Ltd, a Hutchison affiliated company, has turned its brand name Celforce into Hutch under its unified national brand plan. In the process, it also announced a series of services.

"The major attraction," according to Asim Ghosh, head of Hutchison's telecom operations in India, "is the plan that has reducing tariff as the caller continues speaking." In addition, package that allows two Hutch users to speak to one another at special rates and the missed call recovery, he said would add color to the new branding. Hutch is now present in five Hutchison cellular circles, being already present in Delhi, Chennai, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Hutch Gujarat stands way ahead of its competitors in the latest figures of COAI. It has more than 4,02,900 subscribers out of a total of the national total of 7,35,018 subscribers. "This is not just a change in name. But it is a complete change in the value and a whole new experience, " said Sanjoy Mukerji, Chief Operating Officer, Fascel Ltd.
