CD on the constitution of India

The Union Ministry of Law will release a CD on the Constitution of India in December 1999. According to sources in the ministry, the work of putting the Constitution on CD is in the final stages. This is being accomplished as a joint venture between the Legislative Department of the Law Ministry and National Informatics Centre (NIC) of the Planning Commission. Useful for legal professionals, academics, students, and parliamentarians, the CD will be updated to include the recent 79th Amendment Act, 1999.
