BANGALORE, INDIA: Uttarakhand Police is going to make Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and System (CCTNS) public through internet.
Uttarakhand DGP Satyavrat Bansal has emphasized on scientific investigation techniques to solve criminal cases. The investigative skills of the policemen in Uttarakhand will be improved through month long training course.
As of now, 5100 policemen have already received basic computer education the rest would be trained in two months.
After Vijay Bahuguna, Chief Minister, Uttarakhand had announced to depute a woman IPS officer to deal with crimes against women, SP, PHQ (law and order) Vimmi Sachdeva has been appointed as the SSP of State Women's Security Cell to investigate on cases received in the cell.
