CBSE Board, JEE Main, and NEET 2021: EduMin to go live again on Dec 17 to discuss what teachers want

Union Minister of Education Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank went live on December 10 to interact with students, parents and others. Now, he has once again invited teachers for online interaction on December 17. Last time, he spoke on several topics including postponing of exams, mode of exam and reopening of schools. He said that there is no plan to cancel the medical entrance exam - NEET 2021 and NTA may hold multiple sessions of JEE Main 2021.

However, during his interaction on December 17, Pokhriyal will talk about CBSE Class 10, 12 Board exams. We also expect him to make some announcement regarding the dates of the exams. If he announces the dates of Board exams, students will naturally find relief as they will also know when their competitive exams like JEE Main and NEET 2021 will happen.

What did EduMin state?

In a tweet, the newly made Education Ministry called teachers to share their concerns and queries using #EducationMinisterGoesLive. He will go live on December 17, 4 PM. The tweet says,

The query also saw participation from students as well, looking for their voices to heard. Last time, the EduMin missed talking about certain points.  In fact, students are angry that their questions weren't answered.

Thus, students want representation in this webinar for not only CBSE but also JEE Main and NEET 2021.

A brief of the last session

In the last session, Ramesh Pokhruyal states that they will look at the situation to conduct CBSE Board Practicals. They will not postpone NEET 2021 and will look to conduct JEE Main 2021 up to four times.
