Students not satisfied with their CBSE 10th Results 2020 can apply for revaluation, rechecking. They can also obtain a photocopy of their CBSE Class 10 Board Exams answer sheet. Unlike previous years, the CBSE declared the 10th Results on July 15, 2020. While CBSE cancelled the pending CBSE 10th Board Exams all across the country in the view of the rising COVID-19 cases, there are only a few students who could not appear for one or no exam.

To release CBSE 10th Results 2020, the Board opted for an alternative assessment scheme. Under this scheme, the CBSE 10th Results 2020 came out based on internal assessment and students' performance in the CBSE 10th Board Exams 2020 that they already gave.

How to apply for revaluation or rechecking?

The first thing to remember is the difference between revaluation and rechecking. Recounting/rechecking includes the recounting of marks once again and ensure that the evaluator awarded the marks in the mark sheet correctly. Whereas, re-verification includes the revaluation of answer scripts. Further, a scanned copy of the evaluated answer script will be provided to the student.

Also, the board will decide and announce the schedule for compartment exams in consultation with the Government of India. The modalities for rechecking and revaluation will also be notified by the board in due course of time.

Students also have to note that they can apply for rechecking and revaluation ONLY for the papers they attempted in their Board Exams.
