BANGALORE: The IT and ITES recruitment consultant, Career Graph is on an expansion mode. Plans of setting up a Mumbai office, scaling up its team to 40 and venturing into non-IT verticals are some of the activities proposed by the five-year-old company.
"A lot of activities on the non-IT verticals have lured us to step into new waters. ITES candidates with specialised non-IT industries domain are in demand now and hence, we are in the process of identifying the people for some large clients," said Anjan Dutta, CEO of Career Graph. Presently, the company is recruiting tech support personnel in the BPO arena.
The company's focus areas include high technology and niche segments like systems and telecom software, VLSI, EDA, various ERPs, Software product development, Business Consulting etc. Some of its clients include, Huawei Technologies, IBM Global Services, Intel, Logica CMG, Fidelity, Siebel Systems, Accenture and AOL.
Career Graph posted Rs 1.2 crore in revenue for 2003-04 and is bullish about clocking a revenue of Rs 2.1 crore by March 2005. "In the last three years 95 percent of new customers have come through referrals only, while 75 percent of Career Graph's revenue continues to come from clients who are with us for more than two years. Our compounded growth rate (CAGR) in the last five years is 84 percent," added Dutta.
On the operational front the company claims to have placed 79 percent in MNCs and large corporates, while 52 percent of Career Graph's business is delivering solutions in top-end technologies. 95 percent of placement done for technically qualified candidates like BE, ME, MCA etc. 10 percent of the candidates placed are from overseas. "We get more than 750 fresh resumes every day. At the moment nearly 150,000 candidates have entrusted their resumes to Career-Graph," said Dutta.
