Career Community to go for second round funding

HYDERABAD: Career Community.com Limited of Hyderabad is all set to go for its

second round of funding to raise $2 million. The company, which is in talks with

a couple of US based venture capitalists, hopes to raise the funds in the next

three months.

The generated funds would be deployed in expanding the company’s presence

to other Asian destinations. Career Community plans to open offices in

Indonesia, The Philippines and the Middle East. The company has already promoted

themanagementor.com, a first-of-its-kind portal totally dedicated to working

Indian professionals.

With a strong focus on building competencies, providing customized networking

solutions and a number of value added services, the vortal aims to become India’s

largest online community of professionals. The portal has a subscriber base of

around 2,000, which is likely to increase to 60,000 within one year.
