CardLogix Smart Cards will now have SCM chips

CALIFORNIA, US: Smart cards from CardLogix, like CardLogix Smart Toolz, M.O.S.T. Toolz, Embedded Toolz and middleware, including Winplex, Printplex and Trakplex, would now incorporate SCM’s readers, including the SCR series, which enables a broad range of security applications.

This can help smart card system developers to create a solution that would secure critical data for identity and access, said a press release.

CardLogix is a smart card manufacturer for Secure ID and transactions and has expanded its partnership with SCM Microsystems, Inc. a provider of smart card readers and chips for digital authentication.

SCM has also incorporated CardLogix smart cards into its CHIPDRIVE, MyKey and CHIPDRIVE Time Recording productivity solutions, which are smart card reader and software packages aimed at the small and medium-sized business market.
