NEW DELHI: Capital Wireless Pvt Ltd, a Delhi based RF solutions provider, has partnered with US based E-Ten Information Systems to distribute its pocket PC — P300 - in the Indian sub-continent.

"It is a pocket PC with a built in camera and a mobile phone. We have partnered with the US based company to sell this product in India, Bangladesh and Nepal. Initially, we are looking forward to selling this only in India and after we establish the product over here, then we will move to other markets as well," said president and director of the board of Capital, Arvind Kapur.

The company is looking forward to sell this product via a channels based approach and is setting a target of having 30 resellers across India. "We are targeting the road-warrior segment of the market. Executives and corporates on the move will find this device extremely useful. We already have got a good response from the corporate segment," he added.

The product with its mobile phone capabilities of tri-band GSM module is priced at Rs 35,999 and the company is looking forward to selling between 12,000 to 15,000 units for this year.

"This is the first time that a product like this has been launched in India and some telecom operators are also showing lot of interest in this product. So as we move forward, we would be seriously thinking about bundling it with some telecom service providers in the region," Kapur informed.
