Cancel Compartment Exams Trends on Twitter as Students Ask MHRD "If CBSE Main Exams can be cancelled, then why not compartment"

Earlier this month, the MHRD and CBSE decided to cancel Class 10th and 12th exams. Meanwhile, NTA postponed JEE and NEET. But there is a new problem that they overlooked- Compartment exams. While the exams were going to happen in the first half of July, the results are out too. It was good news and relief for many students, but not students who had compartments.

Their results are still not out. Further, there are no new dates for exams, so they don't know what to do. Thus, the concerned students have taken to Twitter to flood the authorities with their plea. They are using the hashtag Cancel Compartment Exams under MHRD and HRD Min Pokhriyal's timeline.

Some of the concerns from the students are:

1. The delay in exams will potentially destroy the year of these students. This student stated that "Since we don't know when or how compartment exams will be conducted, the results will take time and then admission dates will also pass."

2. Another major concern with students is that CBSE Main exam's students passed without giving exams. So, CBSE can surely pass them with passing marks? Then why the discrimination?

Another student stated that there is no possibility to take exams. Still, there is no decision from authorities.

One more student asked that same thing

3. Safety reasons for compartment exams persist. And why not, there are over 40,000 new COVID cases every day. Not only that, but students have also made videos stating their problems and plea.

4. Some students only have a compartment in one subject, that too with 2-3 marks. Surely, CBSE can do something? Students have even shared their mark sheets to show that.

The decision on this needs to be taken at the earliest, and it should be student-centric, unlike UGC exams.
