KOCHI, INDIA: Familiar characters, everyday gossip, usual quibbles of a typical day at office. A colorful, no-words-minced play gave many the feeling of ‘this happens every Monday’ at C-Change today when a team staged ‘Office Office: New Age Mobility with HP’.

In a different and unusual way, the characters made the stereotypical office come alive. With humour and sarcasm tossed generously, the storyline attacked the dry and coarse treatment that printers and office peripherals often give and receive. Many notions sound too futuristic, but surprisingly, are already around. Thinking that you can call a cartridge for delivery just like you order a double-cheese pizza may sound bizarre. So would the idea of anywhere printing – yes the same ‘I can whistle and saunter at any corner and print la la la’.

But that is possible and very much available and accessible for offices and its denizens, as the team demonstrated. Whether it is printing 70 pages per minute or making a wi-fi direct option coming to your rescue or a relatively paperless office; it seems that there is more to the machines that we think just hum and hem and yes, haw.
