Cable&Wireless to manage MphasiS' global network

BANGALORE, INDIA: IT services vendor MphasiS has selected network service provider Cable&Wireless Worldwide to enhance its communications and collaboration between its global locations, under a three year, $4.1 million contract.

Accordingly, C&W Worldwide will connect MphasiS' global sites in India, China, the United Kingdom and the Unites States of America.

C&W Worldwide will help MphasiS to migrate from its existing wide area network (WAN), provided by C&W Worldwide, to a multiprotocol-label-switching (MPLS) platform.

“Envisaging a rapid growth in our business, we are investing in a new global network. This will streamline our operations and enable us to have uninterrupted and secure connectivity around the world. The C&W Worldwide team demonstrated a clear understanding of our business and was flexible in remodelling our solutions to meet our current and future needs,” said M G Raghuraman, CIO, MphasiS.
