CA Technologies bags Working Mother award

MUMBAI, INDIA: CA Technologies, an IT management software and solutions company, on Friday announced that it has been awarded the Working Mother 2011 Best Companies for Multicultural Women. Working Mother is a national magazine for career-committed mothers, and the award honors companies that dedicate themselves to bringing more perspectives to the decision-making table by holding managers accountable for recruiting, retaining and promoting multicultural women, said a press release.

“Workplace diversity is important to us; it is something we nurture and encourage, because we recognize that our ability to succeed and excel in the marketplace depends on our people,” said Guy Di Lella, chief human resources officer, CA Technologies.

The company said that it is an active partner of the Anita Borg Institute (ABI) for Women and Technology, a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the impact of women on all aspects of technology.
