CA to buy Interactive TKO for $330 mn

BANGALORE, INDIA: Business software maker CA Technologies agreed to buy privately-held Interactive TKO Inc for $330 million in cash to expand its cloud-based offerings.

Interactive TKO, which makes software that allows customers to predict how their applications will perform in different environments, reported revenue of $39 million last year.

CA expects the deal to lower earnings slightly in fiscal 2012.

CA shares closed at $22.63 on Wednesday on Nasdaq.
