CA gets new communications director

BANGALORE, INDIA: CA, a provider in software services, today announced the appointment of Satyajit Lahiri (Toto) as Director, Corporate Communications (India and SAARC).

The release said that he would sit at company’s headquarters in Mumbai and would report to Raj Seth, vice president, corporate communications, Asia Pacific and Japan.

Seth said: “I am delighted to welcome Toto to the team. He will lead CA’s external and internal communications in India and SAARC by drawing on 17 years’ experience in public relations, journalism and marketing.”

He would be responsible for supporting the sales process by raising visibility of CA’s role throughout India’s enterprise community, while keeping the company’s various audiences up to speed with progress at the India Technology Center research and development campus in Hyderabad, said a press release.

Before joining CA he was associated with RPG Group, as head of corporate communications (Transmission Sector), following news desk and reporter posts in business journalism and the position of publicity manager at the STAR TV network.

He also spent more than a decade with A.T. Kearney and EDS in Australia and India.

After graduating with honors from St Stephen’s College, Delhi University, Lahiri undertook a master’s program in communications and professional writing at Melbourne’s Victoria University in Australia, said the release.
