C&W Worldwide names new enterprise sales director

BANGALORE, INDIA: Cable&Wireless Worldwide, a provider of mission critical communications for telecom users, has today announced the appointment of Geetika Saigal as director for enterprise sales in India.

Saigal’s main focus will be on growing the enterprise business in India which has been experiencing rapid growth nationwide, the company, which works with 150 customers in India, said in a statement.

Cable&Wireless Worldwide said Geetika comes with a diverse experience in business development, solutions sales and relationship management in the telecom industry. Prior to this role, she was responsible for C&W Worldwide’s business development portfolio in the UK. Before joining C&W Worldwide, Geetika held senior positions at British Telecom and Tata Group in India.

Making the announcement, Shali Thilakan, managing director — India, Cable&Wireless Worldwide, said Geetika has a proven track record in the telecom industry, having built key client businesses for several of our enterprise customers.

“Her wealth of experience in India and the global markets will be a major asset to our team and will help strengthen our capabilities in the region,” he added.

Geetika completed her MBA from the International Management Institute, Delhi. She topped the batch of graduates in International Management and Business Economics BA (Honours) from Jesus & Mary College, Delhi University.
