PUNE: IT has come up with solutions for almost every e-governance need. More
than 22 odd products were on display at the two-day road show organized by
Pune's prestigious Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC).
The objective behind the show was to showcase its expertise and strength in
e-governance solutions and services. Representatives of C-DAC's Authorized
Training Centres (ATCs) in India and its business development groups were in
attendance for the road show for acquainting and understanding these
applications.
The ATCs are being promoted to C-DAC's e-governance applications more
vigorously on a national level. The road show thus sets to accomplish C-DAC's
objective of effectively teaming up its training infrastructure with development
marketing through the integration of its business development groups with the
ATCs.
The e-governance services and solutions on display at the road show are
Data Warehousing for Decision Support in government, Works Management Suite,
Hospital Information System (HIS), Stamps Registration Software, Land Management
System, Municipal Corporations Operation Computerization, Document Management
System, Archives Computerization, Personal Information Management System, Octroi

C-DAC has developed and offered a range of these e-governance solutions for

kind could find use in a number of government departments.
Also on display were the recent works undertaken by the National Multimedia
Research Centre (NMRC). After beginning work on the Dnyaneshwari, the center has
