PUNE: Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) has recently
signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with IT Microsystems (India) Ltd. to
offer its flagship course Diploma in Advanced Computing (DAC) in the United Arab
Emirates, New Zealand and USA.
Under the terms of the MOU, IT Microsystems (India) Ltd., a subsidiary of
Panaromic Group of Companies, India, will set-up and run C-DAC ATCs (Authorized
Training centers) in New York, Auckland and Dubai. These ATCs will provide state
of the art training facilities and offer C-DAC benchmarked advanced IT courses.
The ATCs will be well equipped with lecture halls, libraries, computer
laboratories and various other amenities.
"With this agreement, C-DAC's computer training initiative is well on
course to achieve a global presence and recognition," said R K Arora,
executive director, C-DAC.
In India, C-DAC's Advanced Computer Training School (ACTS) is dedicated to
creating premium-trained professionals for the IT industry through the designing
and delivering of various courses. These courses are offered through a network
of more than 100 ATCs in India besides C-DAC's own centers in Pune, Delhi,
Hyderabad and Bangalore.
