BANGALORE, INDIA: Ever thought how the world would have been if only the energy of rebels were channelised, and if only all our IT honchos stop being too serious? Though the very thought seems to be more rebellious, the world would have been a much more better place to live in, in both the cases anyways.

"Meditation can bring that sea-change," noted spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravishankar while addressing an audience of about hundreds of CIOs and a large community of IT professionals during his keynote session on the opening day of CIOL's tenth edition of annual CIO summit, C-Change 2013.

While embarking on the topic, 'Art of bringing Change', he noted how meditation could touch the lives of thousands of Maoists in Chattisgarh. Similarly, meditation can also bring a sea-change in the lives of corporate professionals by helping them to see their inner self and de-stress their minds.

"Personal excellence needs to begin from within. In the corporate life, where we aim for the higher-most aptitude, we forget to see what is there inside us. In today's fast moving and closed society, there is a need to introspect ones inner-self and take along the learning from there in order to see life from a larger perspective. It can bring a C-Change (Sea of Change) in personal and professional life," he noted.

He demonstrated the importance of pause in life by going silent for a few couple of minutes after uttering the very first word, 'C-Change' (read it as See-Change), during the beginning of his session, during which, there were a thousands of questions that were doing rounds in every mind present in the hall.

"Take a pause and listen to these inner dialogues. A successful businessesperson is the one who has a smile on the face and the confidence to move the mountain. An ethical business can happen with clarity and sincerity only when stress is ousted from your minds," he signed off.
