MUMBAI, INDIA: Business Intelligenze, a two-year-old startup, has chosen business intelligence (BI) to be its unique selling proposition (USP) with solutions and offerings that are developed to help outsourcing companies become more productive and efficient.

''We are not a generic BI product and solution company. We provide functional values rather than just technology as most outsourcing companies look for increasing key performance index (KPI) of individuals including staff's efficiency, timing and productivity,'' Rahul Sethi, Business Intelligenze's Founder and CEO told CyberMedia News over the phone.

''Though outsourcing companies use contact center management tools, they still need tools for measuring KPI in terms of occupancy, performance management, people and quality of output or work,'' Sethi added.

This Delhi based startup is Sethi's brain child and has 11 members in his team including four full-time developers and rest are consultants for implementation.

For Seth, Business Intelligenze is his second tech venture with a Rs..75 lakh self-funding. However given his strong background and experience of working at HCL BPO in the past, it was a natural choice for him to set up a BI software company in Outsourcing vertical.

''We are sticking with Outsourcing sector as it is our domain and also we don't have knowledge and experience of other sectors,'' Sethi said. He admitted that his company gets many BI solutions queries from other verticals like Pharma but has turned them down due lack of domain knowledge and experience.

In terms of Business Intelligenze's offering, Sethi informed that though the company was formed in 2010, it took over a year or so in developing BI solutions that are now offered on various models such as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), On-premise and also on mobile platform.

According to Sethi, his solutions are available on subscription basis, where clients can pay on monthly basis in Indian currency against dollars as charged by others.

Recently, the company launched its next generation metrics solution for Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) segment, which comes with features like real time business performance reporting on the Web or mobile for quick decision making.

While the industry has seen more uptake of SaaS in recent years, it hasn't been the case with Outsourcing companies in India, according to Sethi.

''On-premise is highly adapted in India as clients are not ready to accept BI over Cloud due to security concerns,'' he pointed out. Moreover, Sethi added that BI on Cloud will take a couple more years to gain acceptance among the clients here.

Business Intelligenze has in two year's span bagged 35-odd mid to large size BPO clients of which 25 are in India and rest are in abroad. HCL BPO, Capgemini, Airtel, Microsoft, CompuCom, Express KCS and Ideal Dialogue Company some of those clients.
