LAKEWOOD, USA: BuilderMT, the workflow management solutions provider for home builders announced the debut of BuilderMT Cloud, a next-generation web platform that delivers a SaaS subscription-based solution for production home builders.
The new BuilderMT Cloud will deliver all of BuilderMT's web-based products, current and future. Available now, the first release of BuilderMT Cloud is focused on BuilderMT's Models and Options Manager (MoM), a product that allows users to create and manage models product catalog databases.
Now available through the Cloud, BuilderMT Cloud MoM brings remarkable flexibility in models and options management, whether the home builder is using CAD, BIM or traditional home plans.
"BuilderMT chose to initially build the Models and Options Manager in the BuilderMT Cloud because it is at the core of production homebuilding," said BuilderMT's president Tom Gebes.
"BuilderMT Cloud MoM will appeal to home builders looking for a simple web-based solution for managing their models product catalog. With BuilderMT Cloud MoM, you create as many databases as you like to manage models, options, items, trades, purchasing activities, quantities and associated relationships."
"Users can extend a database through the use of powerful custom fields. With custom fields, the database can be configured to track any additional data you want. Plus, BuilderMT Cloud has focused on bringing the product in-line with the modern Web by designing a powerful search engine for working with large databases. The search engine uses a high-performance Lucene search engine for lightning-fast search and retrieval."
Another powerful feature of BuilderMT Cloud Models and Options Manager is its ability to import and export from Excel. This feature is built for the "power user" that likes the speed, power and flexibility of Excel. Using the Excel import feature, BuilderMT Cloud MoM users can build and manage large databases in their tool of choice.
"This is exciting for the builder who uses less-than-adequate tools for building product databases to integrate with their back office systems by importing and exporting this Excel file," said Tom Gebes. BuilderMT Cloud is priced at a $99 per month subscription per user, or a bundled license for $299 per month for five users. A free 30-day subscription is also available for the users.
