Buddibot debuts new communication tool

HYDERABAD, INDIA: Buddibot, a India headquartered developer of web applications focused on remote companionship and compassionate care, today announced the launch of their Buddibot 1.0 service, a subscription-based communication tool designed to keep the distributed families connected, especially the  younger ones with their elder members.

The Buddibot 1.0 software comes with generic reminders, messaging service, playlist manager and memories manager.  It works with WowWee Technologies’ Rovio mobile webcam, a Wi-Fi enabled home explorer that can be controlled remotely from anywhere in the world using a web-enabled device.  Utilizing the Rovio mobile webcam’s omni-directional wheelbase and built-in camera and microphone that stream video and audio, the Buddibot service will allow for remote companionship, support and entertainment.

Buddibot will be distributing Rovio mobile webcams in India via it’s group company for an approximate retail price of Rs.14,850 / USD 299 via the retailer Reliance Digital and online at www.smartbotsdirect.com.  The Buddibot subscription services are available for Rs.1750 / USD 35 per year.
