BT to deploy Simpana to manage data

MUMBAI, INDIA: BT, a provider of voice and data services, selected CommVault Simpana software as part of its continuing effort to reduce costs and improve service levels for its internal and external customers.

CommVault has in turn entered into a five-year partnering with HP to assist BT in transforming its data management through increased adoption of data center virtualization and tiered storage solutions.

BT will deploy Simpana Backup & Recovery module with centralized management and policy automation to expedite disk-based back-ups and drive significant operational efficiencies.
