BT bullish on Indian enterprise segment

NEW DELHI,INDIA: BT is betting big on the Indian enterprise segment as more and more companies are realising the advantage of outsourcing their communication needs.

Sudhir Narang, the newly appointed Managing Director of BT’s India operations, said that convergence of networks and applications is happening in a major way in India. “People talk of convergence as if it is something for the future. It is already happening on the network side and we are already seeing it happening on the applications side as well.”

Narang will lead BT Global Services’ strategy, growing the company’s presence and spearheading services in India.

“I believe BT is well positioned to become the leading networked IT solutions provider in the Indian marketplace. I look forward to helping to build upon the success of a global powerhouse that has already proven itself as a reliable partner for India’s BPO industry,” he said.
