CIOL BSNL partners Data Xgen, announces 100 GB of storage space for broadband customers

On International Women's Day, BSNL partnered with linguistic email service provider Data Xgen and announced that it will be offering 100 GB of storage space to their broadband customers via select plans.

The offer is currently available for women subscribers  but will steadily be made available to all Indian citizens using BSNL’s broadband services.

Anupam Shrivastava, Chairman and Managing Director, BSNL said, "100 GB storage space is introduced with BSNL’s two pan-India plans in free of cost. Plans offered are ‘BBG Combo ULD 680’ and ‘BBG Combo ULD 950’ to the customers on their bundled email service. Anyone availing these two plans is going to get a free email address with 100 GB storage space."

With this partnership, BSNL broadband customers can access linguistic email address service offered by Data XGen jointly on DataMail app. The latest plan also provides users with a dataone.bharat domain and email address with 100 GB storage.

"BSNL has always led the new initiatives in India and offering 100GB storage space is another historic moment for the country," said Ajay Data, founder and CEO of Data XGen Technologies. "A made in India, DataMail app has empowered Indian citizens to interact in their own language through linguistic email address service and now with the DataRadio social media feature it has established a toll-free and non-abusive medium to reach out the mass audience."

Datamail App, which was launched in 2016, helps users to create an email address in about eight regional languages, including Hindi, Gujarati, Urdu, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, and Marathi. Furthermore, Data Xgen is also planning to add support for Arabic, Russian and Chinese languages.
