BSNL not involved in 2G scam: Minister

NEW DELHI, INDIA: State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) is not involved in the 2G scam, Minister of State for Communications and IT Milind Deora said Wednesday.

BSNL had, however, signed an agreement with private operator Swan Telecom, which is under the scanner of the Central Bureau of Investigation for its alleged involvement in scam.

"No scam has been reported in the 2G mobile services of BSNL," he said in a written statement in the Lok Sabha
