BSNL brings out Penta T-Pad WS802C tablet

BANGALORE, INDIA: BSNL has brought out the Penta T-Pad WS802C Android tablet into the market costing Rs 14,699. This tablet is being seen as a fierce competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 that costs Rs 19,000.

BSNL, in association with Noida based Pantel Technologies, had in February released three competitively priced tablets into the market. These tablets were seen as fierce competitors to the Indian Government’s Aakash tablet then.

The Penta T-Pad WS802C gives the best 3G support and runs on the Android 4.0 operating system, which makes it feature-filled and user-friendly. Some of its features and specifications are:

8-inch capacitive touchscreen display, 1.2 GHz processor, 512MB DDR2 RAM, 4 GB internal memory, Upto 32 GB expandable memory support through micro-SD card, 2MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, 1080p HD video recording capability along with HDMI connectivity, GPS, 3G SIM slot, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity offered, pre-loaded Angry Birds game along with Facebook, Twitter, Google Maps, Skype and e-book reader.
