MUMBAI: The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) said on Saturday it would suspend
trading in shares of animation software company Pentamedia Graphics Ltd. from
October 4.
"On account of irregularities found in the preferential allotment of one
million equity shares issued by Pentamedia Graphics Ltd. and its failure to
resolve the issue to the satisfaction of The Stock Exchange, Mumbai (BSE), the
Exchange authorities have decided to suspend trading in the securities of
Pendamedia Graphics Ltd. with effect from October 4, 2001 until further
notice," the exchange said in a news release.
Pentamedia's shares closed up 3.6 per cent at Rs 25.95 on the BSE on Friday
while the benchmark index ended 3.54 per cent higher.
