MUMBAI, INDIA: Shares in Anil Ambani Group companies climbed early on Thursday after big sell-off in the previous session, while the Mumbai stock market was down by 186 points.
Reliance Infrastructure, Reliance Communications, Reliance Power and Reliance Capital were up between 4 per cent and more than 10 per cent in the early trade.
On Wednesday, a late sell-off in group firms despite an absence of company-specific news had wiped out about $2.5 billion in market value.

At 11 a.m IST, BSE index was 17,416.36 compared to the previous day's closing of 17592.77. RCom shares stood at Rs 98.25.
On Wednesday Reliance ADAG group shares were down and the group had blamed it on a series of "baseless and motivated rumors" spread by rivals.
