“There's a busy few days ahead for me as part of the spouses programme while Gordon is at summit. But I am looking forward to meeting up with the other halves,” writes Sarah.

Her schedule at the summit includes visiting the people affected by the devastating earthquake that struck the town in April, meeting the audience with Pope Benedict XVI and also some site seeing of historical sites of Rome.

Talking about her meeting with the Pope, Sarah, in another blog post mentions, “I have the privilege of a second meeting with His Holiness the Pope in Vatican City with the rest of my group (good to see the spouses from Mexico, India and the EU who are all friends from the G20).”

She also mentions of catching up with Michelle Obama, and summons her experience by saying, “Thanks to the good food and good company, I have to skip the museum tour as I am now running a bit late for the next event.”
