Brightest, thinnest RGB MicroSIDELED

HONG KONG: OSRAM Opto Semiconductors has introduced a new RGB MicroSIDELED. It features an ultra-slim design and delivers high brightness for in-coupling into light guides designed for backlighting in space-sensitive applications.

Featuring three individual color chips, OSRAM's new RGB MicroSIDELED offers the highest color gamut in the industry, delivering more than 100 percent of NTSC on screen, depending on the used LCD.

It is suitable for applications where extremely vivid colors are preferred such as mobile phones, laptops, navigation systems and microdisplays.

The RGB MicroSIDELED also features an industry-leading high efficiency green delivering 1,000mcd at 20mA with a power efficiency of 50 lumens/W.

The RGB MicroSIDELED offers excellent thermal resistance as each chip has its own thermal contact lead. Additionally, the LEDs can be driven in series, allowing for greater freedom in electrical design.

With a compact package size of only 5.0x1.4x0.6mm, the mercury-free and RoHS-compliant RGB MicroSIDELED is the ideal solution for any display where space constraints are a concern.
