In addition to the inclusion of TIM stores on the Moovit map, TIM customers will be able to navigate using Moovit with no data charges for 90 days until December 11. Moovit will also come preinstalled on all TIM phones starting in Q1 2014.

"Together with TIM, we have a huge opportunity to revolutionize the way Brazilians access information about public transport," said Omar Tellez, president of Moovit. "We see a huge demand for better access to transport information in Brazil, and we are looking forward to changing the passengers' daily experience together with TIM."

Moovit offers several options for users to choose the best routes and the best means of transport. Users can plan your trip, choosing the route according to reports from other customers, in real time. Users can also monitor a live map of the approaching train or subway station, the estimated travel time, and suggestions for walking paths, among other features.

Navigation is free for TIM users until December 11th, regardless of the date of activation of the application by the user. After this period, users will pay the data traffic according to their regular pre- or post-paid data plan.

"With this partnership, we aim to once again bring our customers an innovation that improves their daily lives, and encourage them to use mobile technology to its greatest benefit. Free navigation is a very beneficial action for users, who can already find our stores and recharge points on the map," explains Fabio Cristilli, director of Internet and VAS Handsets TIM Brazil.
