The company will initially offer automatic roaming facility to mots
subscribers in Maharashtra, Goa, Mumbai, Kerala, Tamil Nadu (except Chennai),
Pondicherry and Calcutta. This will later be extended to the circles of Delhi,
Karnataka, Punjab, Chennai amongst others.

Launching mots Roamfree, BPL Mobile Cellular Ltd. chief operating officer
Vinay Agarwal called this as a technological breakthrough since it offers
seamless roaming across different networks. Furthermore, mots Roamfree
subscribers will also have the flexibility of recharging their SIM card in both
the home and visiting network.

Mots Roamfree flawlessly integrates with different network platforms across
operators and provides seamless roaming to pre-paid subscribers. The mots
Roamfree functions exactly like the post paid thereby enabling the subscriber to
retain the same number (the same network code and same Sim card number).
"With over 50 per cent of the out-bound roaming taking place between
Maharashtra, Goa and Mumbai, the service will instantly provide instant mobility
to travelers while also giving them the freedom to budget,'' Agarwal explained.

per minute), a preferential flat roaming rate of Rs 8 per minute in other BPL
Mobile networks (Mumbai, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Pondicherry) and an airtime rate
