"At Bose, we are passionate about product innovation," said Bose,

chief information officer, Robert Ramrath. "To improve our existing product

development environment, we need a technology to enable automation and new

approaches to design processes. We believe PTC Windchill provides us the

functionality and broad process integration capabilities we require."

Bose, headquartered in Framingham, Massachusetts, chose PTC Windchill

technology after an evaluation of several competitive solutions. Bose intends to

use Windchill company-wide for product data management, the automation of

engineering change orders, and as a collaborative platform both within Bose and

with external suppliers and partners.

"Bose is a classic example of a Product First company," said Paul

Cunningham, executive vice president of Americas Sales at PTC. "Above all,

its reputation is built upon its superior products. We are proud to take part in

optimizing the processes behind a world-class product development organization,

allowing the engineers to focus on what they do best: innovate."
