Borri inks deal with Unitek Power

BANGALORE, INDIA: Unitek Power Systems Limited, a UPS and power management company, has tied-up with Italian company Borri, which is into the design and manufacturing of UPS.

A company release said that the tie-up between Unitek and Borri will bring high quality power management solutions to Indian consumers and corporates.

"India is among the fastest growing economies in the world, with Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram, leading the IT wave in the country and there is a huge market for high quality UPS," said Franco Fabbri, general manager (Asia), Borri.

"Our company will market Borri products and provide after-sales service in India. The agreement will be effective from 2008," informed John Zachariah, managing director, Unitek.
