After over a year of research and development effort, this new environment, written in native C#, is designed to assist organizations in the adoption of Microsoft .NET Framework technologies and marks the latest advancement of the Borland Application Lifecycle Management offering for the Microsoft .NET Framework.

The modeling and design tool results from Borland's acquisition of TogetherSoft Corp. in January this year for $82.5 million plus 9 million shares of Borland stock. The acquisition brought TogetherSoft's front-end modeling capabilities to Borland's tools, putting it in a position to better compete with Microsoft's tools and with IBM, last year.

We are bringing agile design and modeling to the desktop and are offering capabilities that were previously unavailable," commented Satyen Parikh, Managing Director, Indian Sub Continent, Borland. Our technology and approach to modeling is already widely recognized for reducing the complexities of application design and collaboration in the enterprise Java space. Borland now cites that there has been broad interest for a similar offering to exist for the Microsoft .NET framework and we are delighted to comply.
