Hexaware will provide training, implementation and other professional services to Borland customers from time to time. Hexaware customers will be able to avail of special discounts on Borland products.

Speaking on the partnership, Satyen Parikh, managing director – Borland India Private Limited, said, "Engaging our customer network is critical in ensuring we deliver on our vision to transform the software delivery process for our customers. To do this, we needed to formalize and enhance the value our partners receive from supporting our solutions and products. Such partnerships provide us with an opportunity to demonstrate our solutions and help the customer in gaining experience on the product.

“The Center of Excellence is aimed at providing a framework to develop this relationship between Borland and Hexaware," he added.

Hexaware will provide a dedicated team for the CoE. The team will undergo an extensive training program called ‘Train the Trainer’ and build in-house expertise on Borland technologies. It will also provide hardware resources at the CoE, which will serve as a technology incubation hub for various project teams of Hexaware. Eventually Hexaware plans to train more than 2000 of its software professionals.
