BANGALORE: Borland Software Corporation today launched Borland CodeWright 7.5, the Programmer's Editing System, which is designed to work with both Borland and Microsoft integrated development environments (IDEs), adding communication, automation and editing tools to accelerate software development.

CodeWright 7.5 is meant to help speed and improve the overall productivity of development teams with remote communication and file editing capabilities, allowing for real-time sharing of information. This functionality, combined with timesaving features such as the automation of repetitive tasks through key strokes and macros, advanced search and replace, and an editable Difference window, expects to result in higher quality code, developed more easily and in less time.

"CodeWright 7.5 further demonstrates the ongoing Borland commitment to increasing the productivity of development teams across the enterprise," said Scott Bartell, director of the CodeWright solutions group at Borland. "By providing these teams with the ability to synchronize CodeWright files with their IDE of choice, be it Borland or Microsoft, we're helping them to increase the functionality of these development environments and accelerate the application development lifecycle."
