The company, which acquired VoD platform Nfusion last month says that Jukebox will offer original radio talk shows in multiple languages including English, Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Oriya to name a few, and also a slew of curated content. BookMyShow has roped in Nikhil Chinapa, Rohit Barker and Brian Tellis, among others to curate the music playlists. Music labels such as Universal, Sony Music, Warner, T-Series, Zee, SareGama, Times Music and Think Music will also provide their content on the platform.

"As a music lover, what you need to do is just press play," says Aditya Kuber, associate VP Music at BookMyShow. “We also want to identify and promote new talent and work towards building the complete ecosystem around talk radio. It’s a category that we believe has tremendous potential,” Kuber added. For its talk shows, the platform has roped in professionals including Suresh Menon, Jose Covaco and Hrishi K.

The current size of the catalog is around 3.5 million songs which may be small compared to Spotify, Google and Apple but the company says it is growing rapidly.

The feature is currently available only on BookMyShow's Android app and will reach iOS in the next few days. The listeners of Jukebox will have the liberty to choose from four streaming speeds- Normal, Data Saver, Good and HD.
