CHENNAI: Blueshift Technologies, a human resources HR and education solutions provider that leverages technology, is looking forward to working with channel partners in the very near future. Headquartered in Atlanta, USA, Blueshift has product development and delivery centre in Chennai.

Talking to DQ Channels in Chennai, Prashant Shankaran, Director of Blueshift said, "Talks are on the and very soon we would come out with the plans to work with channel partners for providing the solutions to the small and medium business enterprises which are increasing."

Prashant Shankaran indicated that at present the company was focusing on automating the HR functions of its clientele and is looking out for partners who can take these automated HR products to a wider market. He stated, "The Indian market is ready for lot more automation than there has been. In areas like HR there has been no proper automation and that is picking up now."

From being an IT solution provider company, Blueshift changed its business model and projected itself as a HR solution provider company. On this modification Prashant said, "We were making all kind of solutions since 1993. But we wanted to be unique and concentrate more on HR solutions, which has a vast market in India and overseas. The result after the change over was phenomenal. At present we are growing towards becoming a leading HR solution provider in the country."

At present Blueshift carries out its business through its own marketing team, but hopes to work with the channel in the cities where it does not have a direct presence. It has already started discussions with few partners and resellers and will announce some channel partnerships shortly, especially in cities like New Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Hyderabad, etc.

The company also has an education centre through which they have provided the entire online application for Symbiosis institute and last year they processed around one-lakh applications through their engine. Prashant also said the virtualization is the need of the hour and Blueshift would help the enterprises virtualized their operations.
