BlueBox starts India operations

BANGALORE: UK based technology hardware inventory broking Blue Box Limited, timed the start of its operations in India with the mega IT event BangaloreIT.com. Speaking exclusively to CyberMedia News Stephen Harris, marketing director said, "We are setting up a sales and marketing presence in Bangalore and would work in partnership with companies to provide access to hardware products from leading suppliers."

The 2-year old company is into systems integration, providing networking solutions for customers. When asked why the company chose to launch operations during IT.com, Harris said that it was done at the behest of the UK High Commissioner to India Michael Arthur who felt that the event and the launch would tie in together. The High Commissioner inaugurated the Blue Box office in Bangalore on November 2.

BlueBox is the subsidiary of Azure Integration Ltd and counts Wipro and Tata Infotech in India a part of its clients base. Based out of Chester, Cheshire, UK, the company specializes in LAN/WAN Networking, servers, storage and software applications including Checkpoint, Microsoft and Veritas.
