SAN JOSE, USA: Today, Blackmagic Design Inc. released a new Windows based software update of its full range of video editing products, including all Multibridge, DeckLink and Intensity models.
This new Blackmagic Design version 7.0 software update adds support for Adobe Creative Suite 4. This is a major software update, and is available today from the Blackmagic Design web site at no charge.
Version 7.0 software update for Blackmagic Design DeckLink, Multibridge and Intensity products adds support for Adobe Creative Suite 4 Production Premium as well as Premiere Pro 4.0.1 for Windows XP, Windows XP x64, Windows Vista and Windows Vista 64 platforms.
When using Blackmagic Design’s new v7.0 software update and Premiere Pro 4.0.1, users will enjoy a new simplified workflow with better broadcast quality video support as well as tighter integration between Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.
Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 support also includes Blackmagic Design’s custom RS422 support for Insert and Assemble-to-tape so that customers can output their projects back to professional broadcast VTRs with frame accurate precision.
“This is a huge update for Blackmagic Design customers working with Adobe products on Windows based systems. CS4 has a much more simplified workflow with greater integration been Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop,” said Matt Dowling, senior product manager, Blackmagic Design.
Blackmagic Design video capture product also support multiple file formats such as uncompressed 8 bit, uncompressed 10 bit, AVI, QuickTime, MJPEG, HDV and DV all on the same timeline and in the same project file.
