The governing body had formed 10 cells to deal with several issues. This included distributor cell, OEM cell, reseller cell, government cell, technology cell, customer cell, event management cell, culture/greeting/welfare cell and sports cell.

Talking about the move, Ashish Jain, president, BITOAA said: “At a recently concluded meeting we resolved to remove those members from the various committees who were unwilling to handle their respective posts, either because they were busy looking after their business or had other engagements. Also, those members who were not actively involved in the association activities have been given the liberty to opt out of the various committees they were engaged in.”

The association will be reducing the size of the committees from 10 members per cell to seven or eight.

Pradeep Saxena, CEO, Wertech Engineers, who was a part of BITOAA’s government cell, said: “I already have other commitments as I am also a member of the Lion’s Club. Besides, my business keeps me busy and hence I decided to give up my post and continue as a member of the association.”
