Birla 3M launches multimedia projectors

BANGALORE: The Visual Systems Division of Birla 3M has rolled out the 3M MP

7630 and the 3M MP 7760, the ultra portable multimedia projectors weighing just

2.3 kg and 2.9 kg, respectively. The rationale behind the super range is its

ultra portability–a huge benefit for travelling professionals who are required

to make presentations while on the move.

Moreover, a personal projector would also remove the problems associated with

handling unfamiliar equipment for strategic meetings and conferences. These

projectors are based on the intelligent image scaling technology, which makes

them compatible with computers of different resolutions.

Birla 3M Office Markets Group senior manager KA Appaiah said, "The new

range is aimed at mobile professionals. Both the projectors are so compact and

light that they are easy to carry around. The new range is packaged with a host

of features that enable sophisticated presentations."

These projectors are developed on the Digital Light Processing (DLP)

Technology, which delivers outstanding images and winning presentations. The

projectors are based on 3M’s advanced optics and light management

competencies. The new range will enable presentations in brightly-lit rooms,

with razor-sharp images and rich color contrast. The list price of 3M MP 7630

and 3M MP 7760 is Rs 3.10 lakh and Rs 4.50 lakh, respectively.
