MUMBAI: Rolta has won an engineering design project for a significant nuclear reactor system of international importance. We believe that this is one of the first of its kind internationally and is a very complex and technically challenging engineering design project, as the company shares in a press release.

It adds that the project demands a high level of specialized expertise in conceptual design, system development, finite element analysis and safety analysis, in addition to multi-disciplinary engineering competence and domain expertise. Rolta was selected primarily due to the extensive experience and expertise of its engineering and design teams in nuclear systems, reactor safety analysis and project management. This project provides Rolta an opportunity to work on sophisticated nuclear technology related projects using advanced technologies.

With various international agreements signed by the Government of India, the nuclear power engineering segment in India is increasingly offering greater opportunities for companies like Rolta to provide high-value engineering

services. While Rolta has been involved in several other projects in the Indian nuclear industry, this project is expected to be important in establishing Rolta's track record in the nuclear sector.
K. K. Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of Rolta said, "We are happy to be part of this prestigious project and will continue to provide high end engineering services in the field of nuclear energy. We are very pleased that our engineering strengths are being recognized for participation in such sophisticated projects".
