Big Bazaar Home Delivery: Furture Retail to provide same-day 2 hour delivery in selected cities

Future Retail's Big Bazaar is one of India's largest supermarket stores. Well-known for selling low on budget and high on choices products, ranging from kitchen deliverables to electronics and furniture decor, the company in April announced its move to provide two-hour delivery in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Bangalore. “Future Retail Limited brings Big Bazaar online as a part of the evolution of Retail 3.0,” the company states. “We incorporate the New Retail experience which will combine your physical world with a supreme digital experience enabling you to shop with no bounds,” it further added.

Where is Big Bazaar delivering?

“Our endeavour is to deliver in every area of the country but currently there are some areas which are out of our current reach. You will be able to check this detail at the time of checkout when you enter the address. If we are unable to deliver in your area, you can still opt for in-store pickup from the nearby available stores,” states the company website. Further, until you have logged in and added something in the bag, you cannot check if it delivers to your pincode.

What is the delivery fees for Big Bazaar home delivery?

The two-hour service will require a minimum order of ₹500 with a delivery fee of ₹49. Orders above ₹1,000 will be delivered free of charge. For regular orders, the retail giant will indicate the delivery fee at the time of checkout. However, if you choose in-store pickup, it is free and Big Bazaar does not levy any delivery fee.
