Bhaskar Menon joins NEA-IndoUS Ventures

NEW DELHI: NEA-IndoUS Ventures, a Venture Capital firm based in the US and India, has appointed Bhaskar Menon as venture partner to lead investments in the BPO/ KPO area along the Indo-US corridor.

In his new role, Menon will focus his efforts on identifying new investment opportunities and will be responsible to seek and manage strategic investmen


ts in early and mid-stage companies in the Information Technology and BPO/ KPO companies in India and the US.

"We believe that the IT Services industry in India over coming years will migrate to higher value added services such as BPO/KPO. We intend to invest in such companies that will need cross border presence to leverage the off shore customer base,” said Vinod K Dham, founder and executive managing director - NEA–IndoUS Ventures.

Menon with two decades of experience in global multi-nationals has worked with MphasiS Corporation’s Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) arm, E-Citi - Citigroup's (parent of Citibank and Travelers), Merrill Lynch.

“Bhaskar brings a wealth of operating experience and insights in the rapidly growing BPO/KPO space to NEA–IndoUS Ventures," said Dham. “His operating track record in the IT and BPO sectors, along with his strong financial services background, make him a great addition to our team of investment professionals.”
