This is exactly what a father in England did to teach his daughter a lesson in cleanliness and house upkeep. He simply posted the unflattering pictures of her messy bedroom on http://www.shameit.com.

“My daughter's bedroom was always in a mess. Her excuse was always that she did not have enough storage space. My wife and I spent time and money re-decorating the room. We bought new wardrobes and laid a new carpet on the floor," the father recounted.

But the time and money he spent on improving the bedroom did not bring about the required improvement in his daughter's behaviour. The bedroom remained as messy as before.

"So I decided to put her to shame and posted the pictures of her messy bedroom on the Web," said the website creator.
