BenQ launches palm-sized projector

NEW DELHI, INDIA: BenQ Corporation has unveiled Joybee GP2, a palm-sized projector with iPhone and iPod dock. The all-in-one Apple certified projector would be available for Rs 39,000.

BenQ Corporation, which sells consumer electronics, computing and communications devices, is eyeing 60 per cent growth in the projector segment during the current fiscal. The new product, company said, is highly power efficient with 3LED projection technology.

BenQ India country head and GM Rajeev Singh said that the new product is the result of extensive research. “The company spends 10 per cent of its worldwide revenues in R&D and design activities,” he informed.

Joybee GP2 boasts of multiple connectivity options and big screen experience, and can sync with Apple products. With sleek and trendy design, the product weighs 565 grams.

The company said that the new projector will be available during mid-April in more than 20 large cities across India. “BenQ Joybee GP2 projector will be available through Apple stores, online marketplaces as well as LFRs such as Chroma and Reliance Digital," Singh said.
