Sanjay Chajjer, Director, Advance Management Systems said, “The deal was struck in late-January and this has opened up more avenues for us now. It is a promising company altogether. They have good product packaging, which is all relevant in today's market and will soon be replacing major players in the networking field as the dominant player.”

Belkin has already secured a toll-free number and a customer support facility in Chennai to help customers with the installation process.

Providing a lifetime warranty, they have emerged strong in the post-sales support front.

The company also has a pricing lead in the market compared to other networking products.

Advance Management Systems has performed well this year, recording a good response from the market in their deals with Moser Baer and Microsoft hardware.

Keen to concentrate on the SOHO and SMB segment, Chajjer said, “For the time being, the main concern is securing a lead in these segments. Later on, we will be taking up the enterprise segment but it will be a gradual process.”

Stating that innovation and venturing into a new sphere has always been key in the company's success, Chajjer added, “We were first to introduce Altec-Lansing speakers in 1996 and we introduced Microsoft in the Kolkata market. I am sure that this time too, we will be repeating the same success story with Belkin.”
